Honey Garlic Salmon
Pan seared salmon glazed in a sticky honey garlic sauce, a quick dinner with big flavour for very little effort.

Ingredients
For 2 servings
- salmon fillets2
- salt, pepper, onion powderto taste
- vegetable oil1 tbsp
- garlic cloves, crushed2
- honey3 tbsp
- soy sauce2 tbsp
- water1 tbsp
- sesame seedsto serve

Season the salmon fillets with salt, pepper and onion powder

Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add the salmon, skin side down if using skin on, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes without moving it, until the skin is crisp.

Turn the salmon over and cook for a further 2 to 3 minutes, until almost cooked through. Remove and set aside on a plate.

Add the garlic to the same pan and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to let it burn.

Add the honey, soy sauce and water, stirring well to combine.

Return the salmon to the pan and spoon the sauce over the top. Simmer for 2 to 3 minutes, until the sauce thickens slightly and the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily.

Scatter with sesame seeds before serving with rice or steamed greens.
